A new military system (artillery rocket system) was yesterday inaugurated at the Royal Guard.

National Security Adviser, Royal Guard Commander Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa opened the military facility on the sidelines of festivities marking the 52nd BDF anniversary.

The ceremony was attended by Royal Guard Special Force Commander Lieutenant-Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Shaikh Nasser unveiled a commemorative plaque, signalling the inauguration of the hi-tech system, and was briefed about the new weaponry.

He stressed the importance of the new military systems which, he said would boost the Royal Guard’s modern military capabilities and hi-tech weaponry and enhance servicemen’s professionalism to assume their duties and confront all challenges.

Royal Guard Deputy Vice Commander Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Nuaimi and other officers attended.
