Riyadh –  The General Authority for Ports (Mawani) issued a unified license valid for CMA CGM, a France-based international shipping lines company, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The license is valid for work in all Saudi ports and practicing the activity of marine agencies.

In line with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 in making the kingdom an attractive global logistics hub, the step aims to enhance the competitive of Saudi port services.

Moreover, Mawani wants to create an environment that attracts investments from major marine shipping lines and maritime transport service providers.
