Microsoft has launched its new Compliance Manager supported by AI and other cutting edge technologies in the UAE that addresses key regulations and empowering compliance specialists to keep up with increasing workloads.

The solution was demonstrated at Microsoft’s recent ‘Compliance in the Digital Age’ Webinar, which brought together the compliance community and focused on how knowing, protecting, and governing organizational data is critical to adhere to regulations, meet security and privacy needs and the latest tools available for compliance specialists to stay on top of increased workloads created by more remote devices.

“Arguably, in a world in which remote work is the new normal, securing, and governing your company’s most critical data becomes more important than ever before. The increased volume of information creates complexity for managing business records with cost and risk implications,” said Mohammed Arif, Business Group Director - Modern Workplace and Security at Microsoft.

“Microsoft Compliance Manager helps businesses to make sense of this data-driven business world, providing a comprehensive set of templates for creating assessments, helping your organization comply with national, regional, and industry-specific requirements governing the collection and use of data. This is part of Microsoft’s commitment to keep our businesses and government organizations safe and secure.”

During the course of the webinar, analysis was provided on how essential Microsoft applications such as Teams provide ways to meet compliance regulation. This includes identity protection, providing additional layers of security that begins with single sign-on through Azure Active Directory and multi-factor authentication.

Focus was also provided on how Microsoft’s suite of products has data loss prevention, which enables customers to control the flow of information, and prevents sensitive content from being shared. Furthermore, Microsoft Threat Protection (MTP) provides built-in intelligence, automation, and integration to coordinate protection, detection, response, and prevention across endpoints, email, identity, and cloud apps. – TradeArabia News Service
