Dulsco, a leading integrated solutions provider in the UAE, has opened its new processing centre in Ras Al Khaimah, which will be managed by 30 female Emiratis, bringing the overall number of Emiratis working in the company to 48.

The recruitment of female Emirati talents to manage the Dulsco Processing Centre in Ras Al Khaimah reflects its commitment to supporting Emiratisation and to empower female talents. The Centre reflects the competencies of female Emirati talents to manage its operations and services that will further contribute to Dulsco’s goal of promoting sustainability and improving the quality of life in the UAE.

To celebrate the opening, Dulsco hosted a special event attended by Mona Waleed, Acting Undersecretary of Emiratisation Affairs at Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), David Stockton, CEO of Dulsco, and the company’s senior leadership team.

The Centre marks Dulsco’s focus on expanding its services to all emirates as well as providing human resources and people solutions to the logistics sector in addition to facilitating waste management, recycling, and other integrated environmental solutions.

Mona Waleed said that the UAE demonstrates a great model of public-private partnership, which has contributed to many tangible achievements. She said that the private sector and national companies in particular, are major partners in the overall development of the UAE and contribute significantly to Emiratisation.

“Qualified UAE cadres, especially women, stand out for their hard work and dedication, and contribute to the advancement of all services and activities. Dulsco’s initiative in investing in female nationals is a demonstration of the role that national companies play in advancing overall development and in investing in people, the primary asset of any nation,” she added.

David Stockton said: “By investing in national human resources, we are drawing on their distinct capabilities and knowledge of the needs of their local communities. Hiring the female Emirati team underlines our commitment to contribute to the UAE’s vision, particularly in promoting Emiratisation.”

Stockton added that Dulsco has made great strides in Emiratisation and will continue to focus on hiring more qualified Emiratis. – TradeArabia News Service
