Romania will soon need to define the timeline for the correction of its budget deficit, Finance Minister Marcel Bolos said on Tuesday.
The European Union state, which has initially committed to bringing its budget deficit below the EU's ceiling of 3% of GDP by 2024, now expects to meet that target only by 2027, assuming it does not change its tax system. (Reporting by Luiza Ilie)
