The head of the Belarusian central bank said on Monday that the country has passed the peak of inflation, state-owned news agency BelTA reported.
Earlier this month, Belarusian state media reported that Minsk saw annual inflation at around 19%. In response, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that businesses were banned from increasing their prices. (Reporting by Reuters; Editing by Alison Williams)
