The Dubai Police honoured Villa Rotana Dubai in a ceremony held on Monday.

Villa Rotana Dubai has been awarded by Dubai Police by its commitment to support the White Points System. The White Points System is a scheme launched by the Dubai Police which aims to achieve a totally secure society, with traffic safety being considered as one of the pillars of police work.

The awards were given out in the presence of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation, CEO and Chairman of The Emirates Group, Major-General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief and Major General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Director of General Traffic Department of Dubai Police.

The awards were presented by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation, CEO and Chairman of The Emirates Group and received by Kinan Al Ghraoui, General Manager Villa, Rihab and Rimal Rotana on, Mr. Al Ghraoui commented: " We would like to thank Dubai Police for giving us this opportunity to support their effort in making our society secure through the White Points System. We are proud to have a long standing relationship with Dubai Police and we look forward to being part of important initiatives that educate the public on the importance of following traffic laws".

The "white points" system is designed to encourage drivers to obey traffic laws and promote road safety. The aim of the police is for Dubai to have the safest roads, with the fewest car accidents and traffic offences.
