International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has secured The Law Society's law management quality mark, Lexcel, for the second consecutive year. Last year the firm was the first and only international law firm in the Middle East to gain the award.

To retain its Lexcel accreditation this year, Trowers & Hamlins underwent a rigorous renewal application and assessment process. This included background checks and on-site visit from an experienced, trained Lexcel assessor.

Dominic O'Neil, International Managing Partner at Trowers & Hamlins, commented: "We are very pleased to be only one of a handful of law firms in the Middle East to secure Lexcel. This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the highest quality client care and business management standards. Our clients and staff can rest assured that the way we manage the practice is efficient and has their very best interests at heart."

Nicholas Fluck, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, added: "Gaining and maintaining Lexcel is no mean feat. By undergoing the rigorous Lexcel application and assessment process, practices can show the positive steps they are taking to help clients in the increasingly diverse, complicated legal services market. The scheme is a beacon of quality to clients and potential clients alike."
