Dubai, 02 January, 2008 - Sun and Sand Sports, leading sports retailer in the region, has announced the launch of the NikeWomen Spring 08 collection of apparel, shoes and accessories. The collection offers a redesigned approach to the apparel and now has more variation in fit across the collection.
The NikeWomen Spring 2008 collection now boasts five different leg lengths and five different width variations for body wear to ensure a faultless fit relevant to the activity. The Spring 2008 line features apparel and accessories for cardio, dance fitness, running, swimming and yoga disciplines as well as a vintage inspired 'sport culture' line, with the entire collection accentuating style and functionality between the body and the environment.

With the latest NikeWomen collection, Nike has analyzed all the specific needs per activity and has developed apparel to suit women at all levels; from high impact to spinning to Pilates and cardio. Thoughtful design and an eye to performance have not sacrificed style - NikeWomen's premium details are feminine, elegant and have handcrafted touches throughout. From the sustainable green design of the Air Zoom Affinity shoe to the quiet climate layer fabric that is not noisy or crunchy, form follows function, working with both the body and the environment to enhance natural body movement.
Each of the six lines within the collection comes with a distinct sense of style and function to suit each activity. Yoga consists of organic cotton blends with Nike Dri-FIT in simple muted colours to create fabrics that feel as good on as they are good for the environment. Raw edges, simple, uncomplicated stitching details and an original graphic inspired by nature create handcrafted, luxurious details. On the other hand the Dance Fitness line features convertible garments, zoned ventilation and performance driven fabrics to ensure freedom of movement.
The same design ethic has been featured in the 'Sport Culture' line with details sourced from urban street culture combined with animal prints, luxurious gold metallic hardware and indulgent fabrics. The line features accessories such as watches and sunglasses to apparel including hoodies, tank tops and shoes.
