Dubai, Sunday, October 7, 2007:  During the holy month of Ramadan, UPTOWN Mirdiff continues to draw attention on the importance of charity through the campaign it launched in conjunction with the Ramadan promotion. For every AED200 spent, AED5 will be donated to raise funds for Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs. Established in 1981, the centre looks after 220 children with special needs from 19 different nationalities. The children's challenges at the centre are addressed through special education methods, physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy among others. With the UPTOWN Mirdiff Ramadan campaign, shoppers will also be entitled to win instant Scratch & Win prizes for every AED200 that they spend.

AnneMarie Shein, Property Manager at UPTOWN Mirdiff commented; "We are honoured to support Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs throughout our Ramadan campaign this year as it has drawn the community together to aid a noble cause for children with special needs. Aside from raising funds, our campaign is aimed at generating more public awareness for the centre at UPTOWN Mirdiff so the students can highlight their talent, activities, programmes, objectives and goals."

Shoppers have the opportunity to visit the Al Noor stand at UPTOWN Mirdiff to view and purchase art and creative products such as screen printing, carpentry and sewing works that are sold to the public to raise funds.
