Sharjah:  The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), represented by the Sharjah Training & Development Centre, has signed Recently a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Smart Solutions Management & Consultancy Services Company to enhance the mutual cooperation between both parties.

The MoU comes as part of the SCCI’s keenness on establishing partnerships with all government and private sectors, so as to serve the interest of SCCI employees and members, and reinforce Sharjah’s economic sector.

The MoU will be covering enormous domains including the cooperation and exchange of experiences in holding internationally certified training programs, provision of evaluation services, institutional training and consultancy services to increase the competency of SCCI staff and members at all levels.

In addition to providing the qualified trainers to achieve the quality and excellence standards, and to fulfill ISO 9001’s requirements.  

The signing ceremony was held at SCCI premises, in the presence of HE Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, SCCI’s Chairman and Jacob Yas, Director of Smart Solutions Management & Consultancy Services Company.

The event was also attended by HE Mohamed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, the SCCI’s Director-General, Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, Assistant General Director, Support Services Sector of the SCCI and a number of SCCI and company officials.

In this context, HE Abdallah Sultan Al Owais said that the SCCI pays great attention to its staff and members in terms of offering them the necessary training that meets their expectations.

Al Owais also pointed out that this agreement is part of the SCCI’s constant endeavors to provide the best levels of knowledge and to bring the advanced expertise to its employees, in accordance with the highest standards that bolster the work environment and develop the employees’ performance in a motivational professional atmosphere.

Furthermore, the MoU reflects SCCI’s keenness on consolidating the notions of quality, excellence, and culture of innovation, through enhancing partnerships and sharing experiences with various institutions supportive of economic development in the Emirate of Sharjah.

High-Quality Training Programs

For her part, Maryam Saif Al Shamsi said: “Sharjah Training & Development Centre is always keen on building strategic partnerships with the major centres of excellence in the training field locally and internationally. Through these partnerships, we aim to hold high-quality training programs that contribute to imparting knowledge and achieving the Centre’s objectives in terms of implementing the best-approved practices in training and occupational development fields.”

The two sides have agreed to enhance the mutual work and cooperation in the fields of preparing, promoting, organizing and holding training programs, through the utilization of the experiences and potentials of each side.

This will positively affect the performance of the participants in these programs and enhance their knowledge, thus improving the work quality.
