December 3, 2008: Sharaf Travel has signed an agreement which will allow its agents to book tickets for customers on Heathrow Express - a 15 minute non-stop service between central London and Heathrow Airport. This agreement represents a significant opportunity for Heathrow Express to target customers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who are part of an exclusive and growing travel market, for the first time.
An online booking system will enable Sharaf Travel and their authorised agents to use e-ticketing technology to issue clients with tickets for their journey to and from Heathrow airport before they travel, eliminating the hassle of waiting in ticket queues.
