Parfums Christian Dior Orient and Jashanmal National Company launch joint venture:Parfums Christian Dior Emirates (PCD Emirates)

Dubai, UAE, December 13, 2006 -- Parfums Christian Dior Orient and Jashanmal National Company announced the launch of PCD Emirates at a reception held at the One and Only Royal Mirage today. Present at the reception were Gangu Batra, Group Chief Executive Officer, Jashanmal National Company, Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrui, Chairman of Jashanmal National Company and Shareholder PCD Emirates, Thierry Dugny, General Manager of International Operations for PCD, Patrick Chalhoub, Co-CEO of Michel Chalhoub Trading FZE, Raffi Fattal, Chief Operating Officer, Regional Distribution of Chalhoub Trading FZE and Ragheb Chakkour, General Manager of PCD Orient.

Established in 1^st January 2006 in Jebel Ali, Parfums Christian Dior Orient is the regional headquarters for the Middle East, Africa and India. The success of Parfums Christian Dior in the UAE has encouraged the company to establish PCD Emirates in a joint venture with its local distributors, Jashanmal National Company.

"Given the importance and the highly competitive environment of the UAE market, we have decided to create PCD Emirates, an entity exclusively dedicated to cater to the UAE market", stated Chakkour.

PCD's new operational branch consists of 80 employees and is located in Bur Juman Business Tower, and will be managed by Mr. Tarek Moawad.
