Guest service manager allocated for each of Le Meridien Tower's floors

Kuwait, 14 December 2004:  As well as a central location and the latest technology, the third element contributing to the success of Le Meridien Tower will be its service delivery claimed Hannes Yaghi, country manager for Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts in Kuwait.

The 70-room boutique hotel has introduced a new level of personal service in the hotel sector in the State of Kuwait, he explained. "Even before guests arrive, they will feel confident that the hotel is looking after their interests, assisting with visas, arranging a limousine airport pick-up and more.

"Check-in procedures are a thing of the past. Guests can finalise registration on the way to the hotel, which means no more reception and no more waiting in the lobby. Upon arrival guests are escorted to their rooms by their own guest service manager, who will be dedicated to that guest throughout their stay, ensuring they have everything they require from a restaurant reservation to meeting facilities."

Yaghi claimed that this level of service was only possible in a smaller hotel, where staff and guests were more than just faces in a corridor.

"While regular guests in a large hotel may get to know some of the staff, we can make even first-time visitors feel welcome, recognising them and addressing them by name as standard - and with a guest service manager on every floor no guest will ever feel lost in a new city."

Le Meridien Tower also features hi-tech services as part of its Art+Tech design, including wireless Internet access everywhere on site and a 'mobile' business centre offering fax and laptop services again all over the hotel.

"Our focus is the travelling business executive and all elements of the hotel have been designed with these people in mind - from the reassurance of a personal contact to the ability to e-mail in the lobby, this is where we will stand out as the hotel of choice in Kuwait," predicted Yaghi.

He said that while hotels were once again booming in the State of Kuwait, and there had been a welcome expansion of both international and local names in the sector, Le Meridien Tower is the first property to introduce many cutting-edge concepts that are revolutionising the world of travel.
