Deals worth more than AED 3.8 million announced during event by three exhibitors alone

Dubai, September 30, 2010: The fourth edition of Middle East Pool and Spa successfully concluded yesterday in Dubai, hosting over 3000 professionals and buyers over three days. The event also saw the participation of over 70 brands from 20 countries, showcasing the latest products and innovations in the pool and spa industry.

"ME Pool & Spa 2010 has been a continuing success since its inception in 2004 and has reflected the ongoing growth of the pool and spa industry in the Middle East. This year, even as the slowdown in the real estate sector and the overall challenges to the global economy continued to impact the industry's growth, ME Pool & Spa saw all the leading brands in the region get together to discuss emerging opportunities," said Tarek Ali, Show Manager of ME Pool & Spa 2010. "As a result of the changing dynamics of the real estate sector, there was a greater focus on retail and end-user segment of the industry. We also successfully hosted the first Certified Pool Operators Course at the exhibition.

"In line with the returning momentum in the sector and the continuing success of the event, 100 per cent of our exhibitors have expressed their interest to return for the next edition of the show in 2012," said Ali.

Organized by Reed Exhibitions Middle East, the event was held from 26th to 28th of September at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

"ME Pool & Spa 2010 offered a unique opportunity to network and build our business within the most dynamic pool and spa market in the world, right here in the Middle East," said Khalil Zayat of Dubai-based Al Kharafi Swimming Pools, which exhibited at the event.
