LINKdotNET, the leading privately owned Internet service and solutions provider in Egypt and the Middle East, is proud to announce that it has successfully completed its appraisal for Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) level 3 Staged Representation, based on the SCAMPI CLASS A Appraisal Method, on the 29th of June, 2006.
CMMI certification is a global standard for best industry practices for software development. The CMMI level 3 accomplishment recognizes LINKdotNET's software and systems engineering activities. The certification process was based on extensive appraisal conducted by QAI, a certified independent Software Engineering Institute (SEI) lead assessor.
It's through the support and close coordination with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), the governmental agency which aims at supporting the export-oriented IT sector in Egypt, and the Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), that LINKdotNET achieved the certification.
