Amman, Jordan - LG Electronics (LGE) and the Middle East Complex (MEC), in collaboration with the InterContinental Jordan, are offering football fans and lovers across Jordan the opportunity watch the Euro 2008 Football Championship live this year. Hosted in Austria and Switzerland between June 7th and June 29th 2008, the European football games will be brought to LGE's customers in Amman to enjoy the atmospheres filled with fun and exhilaration.
Celebrating the games in style, LGE and MEC has taken the initiative to provide the InterContinental Jordan, LCD screens and a Scarlet LG30 screen, aimed at enabling hotel guests and Jordanians at large to watch the games in a comfortable atmosphere.
The plasma screens were mounted in the hotel's famous terrace, the crystal screen at the main entrance accompanied with several points of purchase. The terrace has a banner branded with LGE's special logo for the Euro 2008 Cup.
MEC's Assistant Director for Marketing, Mr. Ghazi Farouq, a dealer for LGE products said, "We chose the InterContinental Jordan, specifically because of their well-known strategic location and well-received activities and events. We have sensed the Jordanian interest in the Euro 2008 Football Championship. The general manager of LGE Jordan Branch said, Mr. Kevin Cha explained that LGE's LCD TVs come equipped with technologies that promise optimal audio and visual clarity. He also stated that these features provide optimal viewing and audio video indulgence.
LGE's customers present in the InterContinental Jordan terrace can enjoy different cuisines: Lebanese, Indian, Mexican, Italian and delicious desserts. LGE and MEC will be offering pleasant surprises to the viewers of the Euro 2008 Football Championship at InterContinental Jordan.
LGE, MEC and InterContinental Jordan will issue lottery cards to be presented for the hotel guests. The crowd will benefit from the LGE DVD's. The customers will have a 10% discount on showrooms and on the new models LCD.
