Successful Implementation Completed within 2.5 Months;

Industry-Specific Solution Designed for the Petrochemical Industry Ensures Company Best Practice

RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Recognizing the need for business flexibility and agility, Saudi petrochemical company Arabian Amines has announced the successful implementation of SAP's Business All-in-One solution designed to monitor the company's sales and optimize costs.

Arabian Amines, based in Jubail and a joint venture between Zamil Group and Huntsman Corporation, saw the software solution being implemented in only 2.5 months, demonstrating the fast return on investment that can be seen with the flexible solution by allowing rapid access to business tools that help companies run quickly and smoothly - with low risk.

"As a leading petrochemical manufacturer in the Middle East, we recognize that to stay up-to-date with market trends, we need business solutions that enable functionality to support business processes, and enable us to improve financial management, maintain operational excellence, improve productivity, and  ensure best-practice," said Alastair Port, President, Arabian Amines.

SAP Business All-in-One solutions best fit the needs of companies looking for comprehensive, integrated industry solutions to power their businesses end-to-end. Unlike other business software on the market, SAP Business All-in-One offers companies a single configurable solution to help manage everything from financials, human resources, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, logistics, product development, and corporate services, to customer service, sales, and marketing.

The industry specific solution implemented at Arabian Amines, SAP Business All-in-One for Chemicals, is specialized for specialty chemical companies. It is a comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution based on proven industry best practices and is designed for rapid implementation at a predefined price that delivers a fast ROI to help increase sales and decrease costs.

"We worked closely with Arabian Amines to understand the strategic business goals of the company in order to deliver the most cost effective business solution. We are confident that Arabian Amines will benefit greatly from our strong expertise within the process manufacturing industry.  I would like to congratulate our implementation partner, MITL, for the rapid and successful go-live," said Abdul-Raheem Bawazeer, Managing Director, SAP KSA.

Implementation partner MITL is a Saudi based information technology services company with which SAP has a strategic partnership to work on projects within the chemical and petrochemical markets.

"The implementation of the SAP Business All-in-One solution will enable Arabian Amines to connect headquarters, subsidiaries, and business partners in one seamless network. We are delighted at the rapid time to value demonstrated by the implementation" said Ahmed Shaaban, Managing Director, MITL.
