Dubai, 3 June 2006: IDAMA Asset Management Holding LLC, a subsidiary of Dubai Properties, offering end-to-end facilities management solutions, has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification within 10 months of starting commercial operations in recognition of its pioneering role in delivering high quality services to its customers.

ISO 9001:2000 is an international quality management standard and framework for business-to-business dealings that focuses on regulatory requirements to enhance customer satisfaction and continually improve business performance from the initial contracting stage to service delivery.

Hashim Al Dabal, CEO of Dubai Properties, said: "Idama is a key component of Dubai Properties and is instrumental in making real our customer-first promise, and delivering the highest quality management services to our clients.

Al Dabal added that the ISO certification will differentiate Idama as a world-class business model that will protect developers' brand values and investments, and set new standards of asset management in the UAE.

Prior to awarding the ISO 9001:2000 certification, internationally accredited auditors visited Idama's offices to observe first hand its quality management systems. The auditors interviewed staff, reviewed documented procedures and records and observed real-time work processes. Over the next three years, annual audits will be conducted at Idama to ensure adherence to the certification.
