Showcasing latest products and technologies at Gulf Print 2007
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - HP Middle East will showcase its latest products and technologies at Gulf Print this year and aim to change the way graphics professionals create large-format images. HP is participating at the Gulf Print 2007, the region's biggest trade show for publishing, printing and graphics which takes place at the Dubai Airport Expo from April 2nd to 5th.
"Gulf Print is the right platform for us to showcase our ground breaking innovations to professional photographers, digital fine artists, graphic designers and prepress professionals across the Middle East region and this year again we look forward to welcoming all the visitors to the show," said Amr Hassan, General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East. "HP is truly revolutionizing the colour experience for graphics professionals and this year's highlight at the exhibition will be HP's Designjet Z Photo Printer Series which has received excellent industry recognition all around the world."
HP also recently introduced the HP DreamColor Technologies, the industry's first highly integrated system that delivers the greatest level of digital colour consistency across a series of colour devices. Over the coming year, HP plans to implement support for HP DreamColor Technologies across a range of markets and product categories.
HP DreamColor Technologies will make it easy for graphic artists and professional and advanced amateur photographers to accurately match colour to prints or digital sources and automatically deliver predictable colour in a wide variety of applications ranging from photos to marketing collateral and posters.
Experience simple and intuitive colour management with HP Designjet Z Series
The eight-ink HP Designjet Z2100 and 12-ink Z3100 both provide an automated colour management experience that enables professional photographers to consistently print museum-quality color and black and white photos up to 44-inches wide.
The HP Designjet Z3100 uses a 12-ink HP Vivera pigment system, including the HP 70 Gloss Enhancer and HP Quad-Black inks to create rich black and white prints and achieve truly neutral grays under different lighting conditions. Both printers also deliver unprecedented photo permanence - up to 200 years - on a wide variety of media.
Graphic professionals can now create color profiles in minutes instead of hours and
receive exact color matches throughout the printing process. Traditionally complex color management has been streamlined with the first embedded spectrophotometer on a large format printer, based on X-Rite Eye-One color technology and integrated with an HP Color Center interface.
The HP Designjet Z2100 and Z3100 Photo Printer series are also the first large-format printers to leverage HP's scalable printing technology to achieve the optimal balance between speed and image quality.
New ink and media for exquisite museum quality that lasts 200 years
The HP Designjet Z2100 features an eight-colour HP Vivera pigment ink system, including both matte black and photo black inks, providing a broad colour gamut on matte fine art papers and glossy photo papers for photographic and creative design applications. The HP Designjet Z3100 uses a 12-ink HP Vivera pigment ink system, including the HP 70 Gloss Enhancer and HP Quad-Black Inks to create beautiful black and white prints and achieve truly neutral grays under different lighting conditions. This also provides continuous tones, uniform gloss and rich blacks, making the HP Designjet Z3100 ideal for high-quality art reproduction, photography and proofing applications. Both models deliver the industry's best photo permanence on a wide variety of HP media up to 24- or 44-inches wide. With the HP Designjet Z Series, graphics professionals have the ability to print beyond the limits of traditional papers using the widest range of media options on the market. With 36 new media offerings, users have the flexibility to choose from a vast range of media options within HP's media portfolio.
