"UAE youth can avail on-the-job-training in a multi-national environment" - HH Sheikh Majid
The Private Office of His Highness Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, announced the launch of a new management training program targeting UAE Nationals which aims to help the youth of the UAE acquire international experience and skills.
The program that will be rolled out during Careers UAE from 21st to 23rd March 2011 will target graduate students and groom them before they enter the work force. This program is being held in partnership with major global consultancies and Fortune 500 companies.
"We are committed to support youth of the UAE and helping them enhance their skills by providing them with international exposure through on-the-job training in a multi-national environment and subsequently helping them in finding appropriate jobs," observed HH Sheikh Majid.
He noted that program has been designed by a team of experts and will be implemented in conjunction with the HR teams of MNCs to help the UAE youth that enroll for the program with developing their cognitive and intellectual skills through training them in international companies that provide consultancy services.
Applications will be accepted and interviews conducted during the Careers UAE Show 2011 where the Private Office will be participating with a pavilion.
The Private Office of His Highness Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has in the past launched a series of initiatives targeting the youth of the UAE including training workshops for UAE Nationals seeking job opportunities in both the public and the private sectors.
The Private Office's participation at Careers UAE is aimed at providing young Emiratis with guidance in seeking out the right career choices. Experts in Human resources, development and training conduct evaluations and assessments for these job seekers and offer them advice on the best ways to improve and use their skills to achieve career growth during Careers UAE.
During the 3 day event there will be workshops and internship placements according to personality, skills and talents and how to make sure that job seekers are improving their knowledge and achieving career growth and prosperity in the participating companies in the training program.
The newly launched Management Training Program will be one of many initiatives to empower UAE nationals and integrate them within the various sectors and it is aligned directly with the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, to provide the UAE job market with qualified Emiratis through providing top-notch training and opportunities to develop skills sets and talents that will help them wok in both the Public and Private sectors.
