Ms. Wilson is the Chief Executive of the Davies Review for Women on Boards in the UK, which leads the national, business focused task force and voluntary framework for increasing the number of women on FTSE 350 Boards. Commenting, Ms. Wilson said, "It gives me great pleasure to visit Bahrain and share the aims and context of our drive to increase the number of women at the top of British business. Through our business-led framework, we have more than doubled the number of women serving on FTSE 350 boards in just over four years and seen a fundamental culture change take place at the heart of British business. A major milestone and all clear evidence that our voluntary approach is working, albeit we are on a longer journey. I look forward to sharing our story, the successes, lessons learnt along the way and our thoughts on next steps. "

Having earned a degree as a mechanical engineer, Ms Sun has led business functions of up to 3,000 employees in the retail banking divisions of Deutsche Bank, Unicredit/Hypovereinsbank and Citibank prior to her current role.

Also commenting, Ms. Sun said," I am delighted to have the opportunity to come to Bahrain and participate in what promises to be a constructive and informative dialogue about the challenges facing us all in promoting diversity and inclusion in the financial industry. I have been honoured to champion this cause at Deutsche Bank, an organisation that truly recognises and promotes the importance of building diverse teams and an inclusive culture in the workplace. I look forward to discussing and sharing what we have learnt to help participants strengthen corporate cultures in their own organisations that lead to better ideas and more balanced business decisions to drive positive results for their clients and other stakeholders."
