FAMCO launches energy-efficient HIMOINSA Hybrid Generators at the Middle East Electricity Exhibition 2015

Dubai, 1^st March 2015 - FAMCO (Al-Futtaim Auto & Machinery Co.), the region's leading industrial equipment supplier, unveiled the latest innovation in power generators today at the Middle East Electricity Exhibition - with the launch of HIMOINSA hybrid generators in UAE, KSA, and Qatar. The hybrid generators are ideal for remote use and save up to 40% in fuel consumption when compared to a standard generator.

The hybrid generators include variable speed YANMAR engines that are redesigned to operate from 1200 to 3000 rpm. HIMOINSA's power solution engineering team has developed a control unit with an integrated management system to monitor and protect the generator, battery, charging system and renewable energy connections. In comparison with other hybrid generators on the market, tests have shown that the HIMOINSA hybrid generators consumed 20% less fuel when compared to other hybrid generators in the market.

The HIMOINSA hybrid generator engine comes with maintenance intervals of 1000 hours which means that the generator can run effectively, without maintenance, for 4 months.
