eSys Technologies, the fastest growing IT component distribution network in the world, has launched a new partner loyalty programme for its channel in the Middle East and North African markets. Dubbed 'ePaL', the new programme is based on a simple 'points for business' system, with a host of rewards ranging from a mobile phone to a 42 inch plasma screen awaiting the ePaLs.

"With the close of a successful first quarter of financial year 2005, we would like to thank our partners for their commitment to working together with eSys Technologies FZE. eSys has grown by 78 per cent in the regional markets in 2004, it is the result of efforts put in by loyal partners in the varied markets that make up this region," says Pavan Gupta, General Manager, eSys Technologies. "The new 'ePaL' status will be official recognition of the special relation the partner shares with eSys."

The eSys Partner Loyalty Programme matches business targets to points achieved, which can then be redeemed at the end of each quarter against rewards. For every US$ 10,000/- worth of business with eSys, the ePaL's account will be credited with 1 reward point. This means, in effect, that business worth US$ 400,000/- for example would merit 40 ePaL points. Even after redemption, the ePaL will be awarded 10% of their accumulated reward points earned in the quarter as loyalty bonus for the next quarter.
However, there is a Minimum Qualifying Criterion (MQC) for each quarter, which must be met to redeem rewards. The MQC differs depending upon on-ground realities in the various markets that make up the Middle East and North Africa region; it can be as low as US$ 50,000/- or go up to US$ 1.5 Million.

Once eligible for redemption, the Reward points can be utilised within 90 days of end of the respective quarter; in situations where MQC is not achieved, although the ePaL is not entitled to redeem the points, 50 per cent of their accumulated points will be carried forward to the next quarter.

eSys, which prides itself on partner packages customised to each partner's need, has designed the new ePaL programme as means of sharing its success with long term partners.

Says Gupta: "The programme is bit like a quarterly celebration by the eSys family. There are rewards for everyone in the channel. For newer partners, who might need time to build their business up, there is, as always, personalised support in the shape of business packages that ensure high return on investment. Unlike most rewards for points programmes, this is an open-ended idea, with ePaL set to evolve in the future with inputs from the partners."

The list of ePal rewards for Q2 2005 includes three mobile phones, a PDA, a digital camera, a camcorder, 2 laptops, the iPod, 2 projectors, a DVD recorder, a LCD TV, a Plasma Screen. ePaLs can also redeem travel vouchers of equivalent value in place of the LCD TV and the Plasma Screen.
