The EMP-62 and EMP-82 combine superior imaging technology, compact design and affordability

Epson has introduced two new 3LCD projectors for the classroom and business environments in the Middle East. The EMP-62 and the EMP-82 offer high-quality projection and ease of use in a stylish, compact and affordable package.

The EMP-62 features a SVGA resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. It is ideal for projecting a range of multimedia applications, for example, presentations and education software programmes.

The EMP-82 features a XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It is suited for presentations that require the highest quality output. For example, Excel spreadsheets with large numbers of data or corporate videos can be projected with excellent clarity, suiting many business situations.

Both projectors are designed specifically for use in a professional environment when time is of the essence. The Quick Start function means there is no need to wait for warm-up time. The EMP-62 and EMP-82 will display the information within 4 seconds and when the user has finished, Epson's Instant Off feature enables the projectors to be switched off and unplugged immediately.

The EMP-62 and EMP-82 are exceptionally easy to set-up and will create a high-quality image even in extremely small meeting rooms. The Automatic Vertical Keystone correction of 30 allows the user to obtain the perfect screen at the touch of a button and the short throw distance means that a 60" screen is obtained at a distance of only 1.8m.

In the EMP-82, Epson's 3LCD, E-TORL lamp technology and the 2000 ANSI lumens guarantee high quality and deliver clear, bright and defined images in all conditions, even when presenting in light rooms.

The EMP-62 and EMP 82 are highly versatile projectors, supporting a wide range of sources and inputs. The inclusion of two PC inputs allows the user to switch content from one PC to another during a presentation. Optional cables also ensure connection to a DVD player or digital camera. The built-in 5W speaker means that users can also share sound with an audience from a video or PC source.

Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, "These high quality, affordable projectors are targeted at the business and education sectors in the Middle East, which will benefit from the superior imaging technology and quality of output of the projectors. The EMP-62 and EMP-82 are designed for professionals who want a simple and stress-free solution for presenting when time is often limited. The EMP-62 is perfect for those on a budget, while the EMP-82 will suit those looking for extra detail in their presentations."
