dwp (www.dwp.com) was recently honoured in Dubai at the Middle East Interior Design Awards 2014, for the Emaar Headquarters, under the category: 'Large Corporate Space', held at Index 2014, the premier international design exhibition in the United Arab Emirates.
Award-winning international architecture and interior design firm dwp | design worldwide partnership continues to garner design industry acclaim with an award win for their interior design of the brand new Emaar HQ, at Emaar Square, in Dubai. dwp topped the category for large corporate space, in the annual Middle East Interior Design Awards, this year.
The Index 2014 award ceremony for the Middle East Interior Design Awards 2014 took place on 19th May, at The Palm, Dubai. The Middle East Interior Design Awards recognise outstanding design projects across the Middle East and North Africa. Divided into 13 categories, the awards cover the entire spectrum of architecture and design projects across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.
Emaar, as one of the world's currently largest property developers, wanted to reinvigorate their team and have a new vibrant workplace. dwp translated their vision for the future into an extraordinary design aesthetic, as a clear reflection of the Emaar brand, spread over 3 levels and 6,250sqm. The client brief required plenty of natural daylight, long worktables, an open-plan with no doors, taking a loft style, with a collaborative and communicative approach. The results speak for themselves, with an impactful workspace, inviting for clients and motivating for the team. Both dwp and Emaar are delighted with the outcome.
