Dubai: Dubai Women's College's Alumnae Association officially launched their website to celebrate the DWC alumnae's life and career achievements.
The website is the first by HCT alumni and was created with support from the veteran alumnae members of the association to emphasize online interaction between Dubai Women's College (DWC) and its graduates.
To this end, the website acquaints its browsers with the aims of the Alumnae Association, how to communicate with the college, continue to benefit from its services even after graduation and get engaged in the college's activities such as the annual bazaar and workshops.
The website has a variety of key links, including a link about the DWC Alumnae Association, its mission and members.
In addition, the website gives graduates access to the job openings, a link daily overseen by DWC CAREERS department. It also explains to job seekers the way to apply.
Tarifa Al Zaabi, member of DWC Alumnae Association, said: "The launch of the Alumnae Association website during the UAE's 40th National Day celebrations was well-time." "The country is celebrating its accomplishments over the past 40 years. As members of the association, we are pleased to take part in the country's 40th National Day celebrations by capping our personal and career achievements as graduates by launching our own website."
The website does not only aim to serve graduates and highlight DWC activities. According to Tarifa, a key aim is to support small and medium-scale projects operated by the college's graduates.
Browsers will hopefully find the website attractive as a lot of efforts were put into creating and launching it.
