Dubai, 15 March 2009 - 360 entries have been shortlisted in the Print, Outdoor, Direct & Sales Promotion and Media categories at this year's Dubai Lynx Awards, the leading creative advertising competition for the Middle East & North Africa.
Of the 1591 entries submitted in these categories, 171 Print, 95 Outdoor, 32 Direct & Sales Promotion and 62 Media entries have made it through to the shortlist.
The judging continues in Dubai with the Radio and Interactive shortlists being announced tomorrow and the TV/Cinema and Integrated shortlists available on Tuesday 17 March.
29 leading creatives and media experts from around the world make up the four juries currently judging the 3rd Dubai Lynx Awards, incorporated as part of the 2nd Dubai International Advertising Festival.
The winners, including the Dubai Lynx 2009 Agency of the Year and Media Agency of the Year, will be revealed during the Awards Ceremony that will take place on Tuesday 17 March.
The Dubai International Advertising Festival has opened today with a packed Festival Programme including seminars from Bob Isherwood, StrawberryFrog and 42 Entertainment.
The Print Young Creatives Competition also began today with 15 teams taking part.

The 2nd Dubai International Advertising Festival incorporating the Dubai Lynx Awards, The Middle East and North Africa Advertising Awards for Creative Excellence, will be held 15-17 March 2009 in Dubai, UAE.
