Dubai: Dubai's global status as a world-class wellness and health tourism destination has been boosted today with the opening of the DNA Health Center for Integrative Medicine, Wellness & Bio-aesthetics at the award-winning Talise Spa at Jumeirah Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah.
The new - and first - DNA Health Center in Dubai independently located at the Talise Spa, was officially inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.
According to the Global Wellness Institute, wellness tourism has a projected global growth rate of more than nine per cent per year through to 2017, nearly double the growth projection of the overall global tourism sector. The Institute points to the UAE and Dubai in particular - where the sector has almost doubled since 2007 - as a market with the largest potential spa growth.
