Kuwait City, Kuwait – Egis, an international player active in the consulting, construction engineering and mobility services, has been appointed by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) to provide Project Management Consultancy for the Al Mutlaa City Development (MCD) megaproject in Kuwait.

As one of the important priorities for the government and one of the core activities of Kuwait’s 2035 Vision, Kuwait is building large housing infrastructure projects across the country. The MCD project is a housing city located 38.3 km, North West of the Kuwait Metropolitan area. It occupies an area of approximately 104km² and is expected to house up to 400,000 people. The City consists of mixed-use development that includes residential, social, commercial and light industrial areas.

Under the terms of the agreement, Egis will provide program-level service management, construction logistics & interface management, cost management, and digital program management system & project management information system (PMIS) for the MCD project.
