Announces alliance with AAB World; unveils EOS C200 & C700, launches CPS program for Kuwait's Canon users
Kuwait – Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging solutions, has announced a partnership with Al Armali & Abul Burghul Int. Photographic Co, better known as AAB World, a Kuwait-based photography company that offers a range of professional photography and videography cameras, accessories, equipment and services. As part of this new partnership, Canon will offer innovative products from its professional video imaging segment, expanding AAB World’s range of photographic services and products.
As part of the announcement, Canon also unveiled its professional imaging cameras – EOS C200 and EOS C700. Both the cameras are created with cinematographers and high-end broadcast production professionals in mind and are reflective of Canon’s commitment in supporting filmmakers with industry-first technology.
Speaking on the occasion, David Newton, Canon's brand ambassador from UK said: "With the launch of EOS C200, Canon is enabling filmmakers in the region to bring their stories to life in the most versatile way possible. We want to expose them to the availability of a world-class portfolio of imaging solutions, ranging from cinema cameras to lenses including 4K technology, workflow solutions and even post production. The launch elevates the capabilities of filmmakers in the Kuwait, and helps them leverage technologies that define industry standards."

The event that was attended by more than 200 attendees was also graced by professional photographers such as Faisal Al Bisher and Directors of Photography such as Abdulaziz and Abdul Razak Al Souraiye who spoke at length about their experience of using Canon cameras, reiterating how they are a perfect fit for professionals like them.
“Filmmakers in the region realise the potential of combining creativity with technology, and this camera does just that, right from feature films to documentaries and TV series. The demand for 4K quality requires uncompromising quality and with the EOS C700 and C200, we are setting the stage for a giant leap forward for the film fraternity,” they unanimously said.
The event also saw the launch of Canon Professional Services (CPS) program in Kuwait. CPS is an exclusive membership service for professional photographers that are using Canon professional cameras and equipment. Members can enjoy a range of benefits, including discounts for servicing, priority repair services and free back-up equipment loans during repairs, depending on the level of CPS membership.
