56% of on-line holiday bookings made by Arab nationals


Following the 2002 launch of British Airways Holidays on-line booking system, www.baholidays.com the company has witnessed significant success in customer on-line holiday bookings, especially with its Arab customers.

The on-line holiday booking service has proved most popular with residents from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Regional first quarter (April – June) figures from www.baholidays.com show that KSA residents accounted for over 36% of all holidays booked online, followed by Kuwait with 23% and Bahrain with 13%. Over 56% of these bookings were made by Arab nationals.
