The company records revenues of approximately USD 100 Million in 2010

Dubai, UAE; January 12, 2011: Belhasa Projects, the UAE based multi-faceted construction contracting company, maintained its market share in 2010, recording revenues of approximately USD 100 Million. The company is set for further growth this year, led by its infrastructure divisions specialising in water treatment, MEP; and industrial and sports coatings. Among the main projects nearing construction are Sewage Treatment Plants and piping related projects in Qatar and the UAE. The company's swimming pools and water features division is due to finish construction on a range of spas and pools for Grosvenor House II in Dubai and more than hundred pools for residents of Dubai's Barari community, in 2011.

The company completed 30 years of operations last year, celebrating its growth from humble beginnings as a specialist swimming pool construction company into a multi-million dollar corporation today, operating across five divisions - Aquascapes (swimming pools design and construction, landscaping and water features), Sports and Coatings (fit-out of sport stadiums, tracks and coatings for industrial projects and car parks), Watertec (water treatment), Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP); and Belcare (facilities management).

Greg Garner, CEO of Belhasa Projects, says: "2010 was a tough year but also a successful one. We experienced significant growth, especially from our infrastructure and MEP divisions.  In 2011, I see strong growth for our Watertec division which is presently working on infrastructure projects from Ashghal and Barwa in Qatar, and district cooling and piping works with Tabreed and Meydan in Dubai. "

Commenting on the future outlook, Garner observed: "We are expanding our scope of work and actively pursuing wet infrastructure projects in Qatar; sports and coatings work in Kuwait and in India; and Aquascapes projects in East European countries. In 2010, we laid the running tracks for Common Wealth Games in India and on the back of it we are working on several other projects in the country. We also successfully finished design consultancy works for swimming pools and water features at the Marriott Hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan."

Belcare, the facilities maintenance services wing of the company, has also firmly established itself currently serving communities of Arabian Ranches, Emirates Hills, Meadows, Springs, Victory Heights and Palm Island in Dubai.

Belhasa Projects presently employs 500 staff and a labour force of 2,800.
