Manama - The Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) has offered free membership for a period of three years to Crown Prince International Scholarship (CPISP) alumni who graduated from UK universities and who are currently working in Bahrain.  Ohood Abdulghaffar, Nada Bastaki, and Marwa Aleskafi are the first CPISP alumni to become members of the BBBF.

BBBF Chairman Khalid Al Zayani welcomed the new members during the Forum's Annual General Meeting, and praised HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa's support of educational and training programs like the CPISP, which provides top university opportunities for outstanding Bahraini students and prepares them for the job market so that they can contribute to Bahrain's development.

Mr. Al Zayani affirmed that the BBBF's objectives include working to create and sustain a favorable business environment, promoting trade and investment between Bahrain and Britain, and enhancing the joint economic interests of the Forum's member organizations.  He stated that the new members will be joining a network which has grown to 450 businessmen and women representing all sectors of business.  The BBBF holds regular monthly lunch meetings which feature prominent guest speakers from the community and business world to address the latest issues relating to this field.  The BBBF also works in close cooperation with the British Embassy in Bahrain to organize business related events and provide information regarding the latest business functions and trade exhibitions.

CPISP Director Dr. Cynthia Gessling thanked Mr. Al Zayani for BBBF's generous efforts, which reflect the business sector's keenness to support promising youth and incorporate them into the business community.
