Amman, 09 October 2012 - American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham Jordan) has partnered with AllWorld Network as a nominating partner for the 2012 Arabia500. The Arabia500 is a ranking for the 500 top growth companies in MENA, Turkey and Pakistan.
"This partnership will help foster multi-level exchange between AllWorld Network and AmCham and provide a platform for high-level dialogue on many sectors across Jordan," said Jack Rabah, Acting CEO, AmCham Jordan. "This is a great step forward for AmCham. We see enormous potential for cooperation with the AllWorld Network to help further our development, and AllWorld will play a central role in that process. AmCham's members will very pleased to be able to share resources and to promote cooperation between all industries so that Jordan's private sector can grow further".
"We are thrilled to have AmCham Jordan join us as a nominating partner this year. AmCham has played a critical role in creating business opportunities for their members and we look forward to having many of them join the Arabia500 this year," said Ola Doudin, Arabia500 Manager of AllWorld Network. "Jordan is an important market for AllWorld. Jordan came fourth on the Arabia500, competing against the much larger economies of Turkey, Pakistan, UAE and Saudi Arabia. With AmCham joining us, we are sure Jordan will continue to be well-represented on the Arabia500."
The first Arabia500 was announced at the Global Summit on Entrepreneurship in Istanbul bringing together a new breed of dynamic entrepreneurs from the region. This year's event will be held in Dubai during the Summit on December 11-12, 2012.
Founded in 2008 by Deirdre Coyle, Anne Habiby and Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter, AllWorld Network aims to systematically identify and rank fast growing private companies in emerging economies. AllWorld is building the annual Arabia500, Africa500, Asia500 and Eurasia500 to map the vastly expanding entrepreneurial world. The 500s rigorously discover and document a new breed of international entrepreneurs that have a track record of growth in growing markets. An AllWorld ranking puts fast growing companies on the world map - attracting new investors, customers, growth partners and talent. A concept that AllWorld calls Visibility EconomicsTM.
A member of the US Chamber of Commerce, AmCham Jordan contributes to economic development through the promotion of US-Jordan regional trade and investment, business development, public policy advocacy, human resources development, and business community outreach. AmCham Jordan works in close cooperation with the US Chamber of Commerce as well as with other AmChams in the MENA region to coordinate operations and promote greater business opportunities between the US and MENA countries.
Through their partnership, AllWorld Network and AmCham Jordan aim at expanding their outreach to the network of Jordan entrepreneurs and fast growing companies and helping them access opportunities to scale and expand locally and globally.
Applications close October 31, 2012

ABOUT ALLWORLD NETWORK INC.
After more than 15 years of promoting entrepreneurship in the developed and developing worlds, AllWorld Network was established in 2008 by Deirdre Coyle Jr., Anne Habiby and Michael Porter, Harvard Business School Professor and global competitiveness expert. Along with Inc. magazine, the founders created the U.S. Inner City 100 in 1998 and Inner City Ventures (a $400 million PE firm). Habiby, Coyle and Porter adapted their model to emerging markets creating AllWorld. AllWorld systematically identifies and ranks fast-growing private companies to create the Arabia 500, Africa 500, Asia 500, Eurasia 500, and Latin America 500. In emerging economies, public companies are known, but promising private companies are not. An AllWorld ranking puts these companies on the world map - attracting new investors, customers, growth partners and talent.
