Alcatel (Paris : CGEP.PA, NYSE : ALA) announced recently the opening of a new center of competence for IP telephony and enterprise communications in Dubai. Dedicated to serving the local enterprise market, this new center enables Alcatel to work more closely with its customers to deploy the company's industry-leading IP communications solutions combined with the latest in advanced communications applications for unified communications and contact centers.
The new center also will enable Alcatel to achieve closer proximity to its local integrators and distributors. The center will specifically focus on providing expertise and complete solutions in next generation enterprise communication technologies from Alcatel, including IP Telephony. This new competence center will be managed by Hesham El Nahhas.
