UAE Exchange offers in excess of Dhs. 1 million worth of prizes
UAE Exchange Centre LLC, a leading foreign exchange and funds transfer/remittances company, is capping its Eid and Festival celebrations with an enhanced 'Money Majlis' promotion that concludes on November 30, 2006, offering in excess of Dhs. 1 million in prizes through fortnightly electronic draws and a mega draw to be held on 3 December. The Grand Draw would have 1 winner of AED 50,000 and 2 winners of AED 25,000 each.
The third fortnightly electronic draw of UAE Exchange Centre's Money Majlis promotion will be held on 19 November, Sunday morning at UAE Exchange Al Ain branch under the supervision of the Economic Department officials. Like the earlier two draws held this fortnightly draw will also have 50 winners each winning his / her transaction amount back subject to a min. of AED 1,000/- and a max. of AED 5,000. In addition 250 winners of Aabharan Jewellery Gift Vouchers each one of them winning AED 100/ worth of gift vouchers. Aabharan Jewellery - an associate of UAE Exchange - as a cosponsor has offered a total of 1000 Gift Vouchers.
Explaining the mechanics of the 'Money Majlis' promotion, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty, COO, Global Operations and General Manager, UAE Exchange said that all individual customers who complete any type of transaction are eligible to enter the fortnightly and mega draw. This applies to remittances, foreign currency exchange, credit card bill payments, Air Arabia ticket payment, Shaadi.com payments, subscription payments of
Pehla (Arab Digital Distribution), purchase and sale of Travellers cheques and using other products like Xpress Money, Western Union among others.
After each transaction, the customer is required to SMS his unique reference on the receipt to 2181. He will then receive an acknowledgement by SMS, informing him that his number has gone into the draw.
According to company reports there has been an overwhelming response with more than 80 per cent of customers joining the promotion by SMS-ing their unique reference on the receipt to 2181. The promotion started on 3rd Oct. 2006.
