Experts and leaders from the academic, business and government sectors to give key insights on entrepreneurship
Two-day conference to be held at Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel on March 2-3
A stellar cast of high-ranking government officials, top-notch academicians and several of the most successful business leaders from the region and beyond have confirmed their participation as expert resource speakers and panellists at the 2nd Entrepreneurship in Economic Development Forum, a coming together of the most brilliant minds to dialogue on the subject of entrepreneurship which will facilitate the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs in the region.
Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al-Thani, Minister of Economy and Commerce, the Forum themed "Fostering the New Generation of Entrepreneurs in Qatar and the Gulf", is organised by Qatar University College of Business and Economics (QU-CBE), in collaboration with Qatar Ministry of Economy and Commerce and Interactive Business Network (IBN). It will take place on March 2-3 at the Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel.

The program of the 2-day event will include eight keynote speeches and four panel sessions, as well as presentations of two success stories and two case studies.

The 2nd Entrepreneurship in Economic Development Forum aims to emphasise the importance of developing the private sector and SMEs, investing in an entrepreneurial eco-system and human capital, as well as creating a knowledge-based economy in order to support economic development and prosperity in line with the goals expressed in Qatar's National Vision 2030 and the development strategies.
