UAE – Mubasher: Vazir Group, a Dubai-based global immigration service company, unveiled that the UAE residents rated Canada as the number one relocation destination in a recent survey conducted by YouGov.
Around 58% of participants in the survey said they would consider moving to Canada, while 36% and 35% of respondents considered living in the European Union (EU) and the US, respectively, according to a press release.
Vrinda Gupta, managing partner of Vazir Group, said: “Canada usually tops the rankings of global reports when it comes to the quality of life. It is an attractive destination for economic migrants, as the 10th largest economy in the world and with many other benefits such as free education and free healthcare.”
“People with permanent residency are not required to live in Canada the whole time, so can split their time around the globe. In fact, the number of days that an individual has to be residing in Canada is only two years out of every five years to remain a permanent resident and if they live there for three years, they can apply for Canadian citizenship,” Gupta added.
Canada is now in the middle of its three-year Multi-Year Immigration Levels Plan to attract a million new immigrants, Vazir Group indicated.
Recent data by Statistics Canada showed that 500,000 jobs were unfilled in the first quarter of 2019 due to the accelerating number of Canadian pensioners in the country.
The Canadian government aims to attract further immigration through its Multi-Year Immigration Levels Plan to boost the company’s businesses and economy.
Therefore, Vazir Group offers two unique permanent residency programmes for UAE residents to attract economic migrants to Canada.
The first programme has been designed for investors who purchase a profitable business in the Eastern Provinces of Canada that ranges from around AED 420,000 to AED 2.8 million and offers them and their families a permanent residency within 6 to 9 months.
Moreover, the second programme has been customised for business startups and entrepreneurs, offering them an expected permanent residency of nine to 12 months.
Vazir Group can help investors in improving their business plan, with the investment ranging from approximately AED 560,000 to AED 700,000 including a rental space for running the business for a year.
“The usual elements taken into account in assessing the quality of life of a country are the strength of the labour market, the stability of the economy, the political stability, equality of income, security, the education and health system,” the Dubai-based group noted.
The group’s research in the UAE also highlighted education, the standard of living, and visa-free travel as the main driving factors for securing a second passport from a particular country.
