Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi emphasized that the 155th session of the Ministerial Council has been held during times of regional and global transformations and challenges that require joint work and coordination among all GCC member states.

Albudaiwi explained that the international community, be it in form of individual states, regional alliances, or international organizations, are keen on building strong relations with the GCC, given its global status and leading roles.

Delivering a speech at the Ministerial Council session, Albudaiwi underlined that the GCC has achieved tremendous progress in joint work over the past four decades and has proved to be among the world’s most successful organizations, thanks to the directives of its leaders and the harmony among its member states.
