Zee Entertainment Enterprise, the Asian television network, has launched an Arabic channel, Zee Alwan, which will have Arabic as serials well as dubbed content of popular Indian TV serials. This is the first time that some of India’s most popular television serials are brought to the Middle East in Arabic. “The cultural context outlined in these popular serials will resonate with Arabic audiences as they are essentially about human values, family bonding, friendships and relationships,” said Mukund Cairae, CEO - Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.
