For the first time in its history, Tunisia will host from February17 to 26, 2010, the 52nd summit of AIESEC International; the "Global Leaders Summit Tunisia 2010" will gather more than 300 young leaders from over 107 countries and territories at the Medina Hammamet.
AIESEC is the world's largest student-run organization. In 2008 the organization celebrated its 60th anniversary.
Organized by AIESEC Tunisia, the congress will be an occasion to gather together major institutions such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and the World Bank, as well as leaders and Members of AIESEC International, to discuss diversity, leadership and sustainable development, as well as to contribute to the development of AIESEC Tunisia.
The summit also aims at developing and exploring students' potentials through seminars, conferences, projects and internships abroad, as well as providing them with the necessary skills to integrate graduates into the job market and preparing future leaders.
Workshops, conferences , business meetings, and a global fair will be held as part of the 10-day event.
On the sidelines of the ''Global Leaders Summit'', the AIESEC Alumni Congress Meeting will also be held from February 19 to 21, 2010.
The meeting will bring together several generations of members of organizations with a view to establish contacts between alumni members and create business opportunities.
Founded in 1962, AIESEC Tunisia has currently 7 offices in 4 Tunisian cities (Tunis, Nabeul, Sousse and Sfax); it gathers more than 500 young leaders and has links with 10 universities specializing in economics and management.
