Damascus - A workshop on investing electronic databases in scientific research on Sunday kicked off at Rida Said Conference Hall in Damascus University with the participation of several researchers, postgraduates and experts.
The 11-day workshop aims at enhancing the skills of the researchers and professors of Damascus University in the domain of using electronic information resources and online libraries.
Rector of Damascus University Dr. Wael Moalla said the workshop aims at introducing researchers, professors and postgraduates to the e-libraries and means of benefiting from them in various scientific and literary specializations, in addition to discussing the electronic archiving.
Dr. Aysha Jabr, of the World Health Organization (WHO), said the Organization puts it's expertise in the hands of researchers to get acquainted with the latest developments in the domain of scientific research.
The workshop is organized by Damascus University/ Department of Scientific Research.
