KUWAIT, May 2 (KUNA) -- Exchange rate of the US dollar stood unchanged at KD 0.284 while the euro rose to reach KD 0.374, said the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Thursday.
The exchange rate of the sterling stood st KD 0.441, the Japanese yen remained unchanged at KD 0.003, and the Swiss franc at KD 0.305.
The dollar exchange rate dropped following the meeting of US Central Reserve, and the decision it took to continue the bond purchase operations, in addition to the negative economic data in the workers sector.
Meanwhile, the Euro, investors are eagerly awaiting the expected European decision coinsiding with The European Central Bank (ECB) decision to decrease interest rates, especially with the decline in inflation rates below the safe levels.
