Al Amoudi, an African conglomerate focused on property and oil industry, will build a five-star Ottoman Palace Hotel and Resort at Bawadi. The 600-room development will replicate the 16th and 17th century era.
Saeed Al Muntafiq, Chief Executive Officer of Tatweer and Sheikh Mohammed Al Amoudi, Chairman of Golden Leaves Hotels and Resorts, signed the agreement confirming the partnership.
Al Amoudi owns a wide ranging business portfolio, including oil refineries in Sweden and Morocco and other industrial projects. He is also the Chairman of Midroc Ethiopia Group, which owns diversified business sectors in Ethiopia.
Al Muntafiq said: "Sheikh Mohammed Al Amoudi represents the best of private sector entrepreneurship and is proof of much of what is happening in African development." Al Amoudi said: "The highprofile projects that Tatweer represents convinced us of Bawadi's extraordinary vision for the region."
