ABU DHABI, 4th August, 2013 (WAM)--The UAE and Malawi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on labour force. It aims to strengthen the cooperation and apply the best practices in administration of the temporary contractual employment cycle.

The MoU was signed by Saqr Ghobash, UAE Minister of Labour and Ralph Kasambara, Malawian Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, at the Ministry of Labour in Abu Dhabi in the presence of senior officials on both sides.

Ghobash lauded the cooperation ties and friendship between the UAE and Malawi as well as the interest of both sides to bolster the cooperation through the application of administration of the temporary contractual employment cycle.

He added that the deal calls for strengthening the control system on private recruitment agencies to help implement fair practices and accountability in employment of the Malawian labour force.

On his part, the Malawian minister hailed the cooperation ties between the two friendly countries, expressing his admiration about the measures enforced by the UAE to upgrade the labour market.
