DUBAI - Companionpoints, a lifestyle rewards program with a turnover of Dh100 million and more than 33,000 members in the UAE has launched a new logo that captures the excitement and promise built around the brand.
"The main aim of the company is to re-affirm the brand whilst moving forward in the future and taking advantage of the phenomenal growth within the sector. The company has signed partnership deals with Emirates Bank International and Dnata to directly position and reinforce the program's adoption of a forward thinking, innovative attitude,'' said Abdulla Qassem , chairman, Companionpoints and Emirates Loyalty Company LLC (ELCO).
The members of Companionpoints are entitled to a host of benefits throughout its 800 retail, dining, entertainment and leisure establishments. Apart from this, some of the business establishments offers 18 per cent discount to the members and the program is very flexible and no expiry date.
The chairman also added that, "This launch heralds a new era for companionpoints and this is reflected in our forward-thinking new use of colour, fonts and forms and clever use of a new simple icon within the design. We were the first and currently the only true loyalty card to use smart-chip technology, making it the most advanced loyalty program in the region. ''
On an international level the loyalty sector is witnessing a dramatic increase, and UAE is no exception to this ongoing boom. With competition growing daily companionpoints identified a set of new objectives to reiterate their positioning as the leading programme in the region.
Using its 'Smart Card' technology, companionpoints cardholders can accumulate points on their cards as they shop or dine at participating outlets. Points earned can then be redeemed 'instantly' for shopping, dining, leisure activities or travel, by simply presenting this card from which points are deducted or they may be saved for a later occasion , thus making them an 'alternate currency.'
Companionpoints has also their own Call centre to support the members and provide various information about the programme.
