The National Strategic Project for Tourism Media under the auspices of the Minister Nabeel Hasan al-Faqih, the Minister of Tourism Ministry in cooperation with Yemeni Consulting House, held a training course from the 23rd - 27th of January. It was held in the headquarters of the Yemeni Consulting House.

With the participation of 40 members of media staff from various media outlets, Abduljabbar Saeed the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism Services and Activities Department started the opening of the training session noting to the importance of this session, which includes opinion leaders from media members in the society. "The Ministry targeted primarily media members who constitute the important axis for the success of this work," said Saeed.

Saeed emphasized that media members should have a keen and close observation on this matter, in order to convey tourism message and promote it to the outside world. Furthermore, he stressed on the importance of such sessions that provide theoretical and practical assuring ideal comprehension to this strategy. As a result, Saeed highlighted, this may enable them from analyzing, personalizing and showing what tourism demands pointing out to the success the Ministry achieved at the end of the last year in the strategy which completes National Tourism Strategy.

The instructor of the session is Dr. Ahmed Mutahar Aqbat, Advisor of the President of Sana'a University and Professor of Media and Television who noted that the session stems from the attention of the Ministry of Tourism and decision makers in Yemen. "We must follow the ideal styles in translating media tourism strategies in reality by following specialized and vocational technique in tourism media field," said Aqbat. "Attendees of this session must primarily comprehend every detail at the same time they should honestly and vocationally achieve their work to express the situation of tourism and what it deserved in any case,"added Aqbat.
