1915 -- The seventh ruler of Kuwait, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah, passes away after serving as Amir for 19 years.
1975 -- National Assembly elections take place for the fourth legislative session with 256 nominees competing for seats. Khaled Saleh Al-Ghunaim is elected speaker.
1977 -- A draft law is issued in approval of the international agreement for telecommunications.
1977 -- A draft law is issued in approval of Kuwait joining the international convention against apartheid.
1977 -- Draft law number 6 for the year 1977 is issued over an agreement to join the international naval satellite organization inmarsat.
1998 -- Kuwait is put on the UN honor list for fully paying its contribution of USD 1.62 million to the international organization early.
2004 - Former MP Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Dabbous passes away after serving as Jahra representative in three legislative terms.
