DHAKA, 1st August, 2013 (WAM) -- The UAE Embassy in Dhaka has supervised an Iftar meal programme for the benefit of fasting Muslims in Bangladesh. The project is organised by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation as part of its efforts to serve Muslims in various parts of the world.
The embassy also oversaw the distribution of clothing for Eid al-Fitr in Bangladesh which is a project funded by the Red Crescent Authority.
